What is a Benelux trademark?
The minimum protection that can be obtained in Belgium for a trademark is through registration in the Benelux.
Together with the Netherlands and the Grand Duchy of Luxembourg, Belgium forms the Benelux, which in trademark law is one indivisible territory. It is therefore not even possible to apply for registration only in Belgium or the Netherlands.
