Jenthe Tack is a Patent Adviser. He obtained a Master in Engineering Sciences (Applied Physics) at Ghent University. In his thesis research he worked on Calderón preconditioning techniques in electromagnetic field problems.
Jenthe’s activities at brantsandpatents include drafting patent applications and handling grant procedures, as well as advising clients on patentability, freedom to operate, infringement and matters relating to fiscal optimisation and taxation.
He also has experience in drafting and prosecuting European and international patent applications up to and including grant, and also in opposition proceedings before the European Patent Office (EPO) in defence of both opponent and proprietor. Jenthe is also familiar with national infringement cases.
His area of expertise includes general engineering, medical sciences, mechanics, electronics and textiles.
Jenthe is fluent in Dutch and English and has an excellent knowledge of French and a good working knowledge of German.
