Ben Schepers

Ben has a bachelor’s degree in business management, majoring in legal practice, an extra bachelor in Advanced Business Management (option International Law) and a Master International Business Law. He works for Brantsandpatents as a patent and trademark paralegal since 2024.

Ben‘s daily responsibilities for patents include preparing and maintaining files, keeping track of deadlines and managing a detailed docketing system; coordinating communication between inventors, patent examiners and attorneys, facilitating clear and timely exchange of information; and ensuring compliance with the patent office procedures and regulations.

For trademarks, his responsibilities include looking after the administrative and procedural aspects of the trademark files, from the initial application to possible opposition. This includes following up on application, publication, registration, renewal and monitoring, as well as keeping track of deadlines and managing a detailed database system.

Ben is fluent in Dutch and English and has a basic knowledge of French.
