Karen Van Kets
Karen Van Kets is Patent Adviser. At the University of Ghent, she obtained a master in Engineering Technology in Chemistry and a PhD in Engineering Technology in Chemistry. As a doctoral researcher at the Centre for Polymer and Material Technologies she studied the functional stability of compatibilizers in polymer blends.
Karen’s activities at brantsandpatents include drafting patent applications and handling grant procedures, advising on patentability, freedom to operate and infringement.
Her field of work is in chemistry, polymer processing and mechanics.
Karen is fluent in Dutch and English and a basic knowledge of French.
