Cate Swift

Cate has a bachelor’s in business and finance and has been working at Brantsandpatents since 2013 as a Patent Paralegal. Cate is a native English speaker. Her daily responsibilities include preparing and maintaining records, tracking deadlines, and managing a detailed docket system; coordinating communication between inventors, patent examiners, and attorneys, facilitating clear and timely information exchange; and ensuring compliance with the patent office procedures and regulations. Before joining BAP, Cate worked in the Technology Transfer Office of a major UK University and 5 years in another Belgium IP law firm. Cate obtained her EPAC certificate (European Patent Administration Certification) in 2023.
