Rogier Goos

IP legal counsel

Rogier Goos is Benelux and European Trademark and Design Attorney. He obtained a Master in Law at the University of Ghent and a Master in European Law at the Sorbonne in Paris. He also obtained a Master in Intellectual Property Law at the Catholic University of Brussels. In 2019 he completed the management education programme SME Excellence at the Vlerick Business School.

Rogier provides strategic advice in the field of the protection, exploitation and defence of trademarks, designs and copyright. More in particular Rogier helps in developing a strategy with regard to your intellectual property rights and conflict management.

For more than 15 years he has managed trademark and design portfolios of small and large companies in a wide range of sectors, and has experience in global management for a Fortune Global 500 company. He also frequently takes care of the IP aspect of a due diligence and is regularly appointed as court expert in descriptive seizures. He also teaches Intellectual Property in the Brand & Packaging programme at Sint-Lucas Gent.

Rogier is fluent in Dutch and English and has an excellent knowledge of French.
